Album out now
For almost everyone, the entry point for discovering the music of Q Lazzarus came via Goodbye Horses. The song first appeared in 1988 via Jonathan Demme’s Married To The Mob, but it would not become fully lodged into popular consciousness until it infamously materialized again in Demme’s The Silence Of The Lambs in 1991.

the legend
Diane Luckey, known to the world as Q Lazzarus, shocked the world when her voice appeared in the 1991 Oscar winning film “Silence of the Lambs”. Her song Goodbye Horses played during the scene most will argue is what won the film and the director Johnathan Demme the award in the first place. Two years later she appeared singing a cover of the Talking Head’s “Heaven” in an iconic scene in another Johnathan Demme film “Philadelphia”. When it seemed the world was getting accustomed to who this mega-talent was, she disappeared, never to be heard from again. This website is ran by her son and dedicated to keeping you updated on her legacy.
